Der Alsenhof nördlich von Hamburg ist ein Labor, in dem wir der Frage nachgehen: „Wie wollen wir in einer lebenswerten Zukunft leben, lernen und arbeiten?“
Wir glauben, dass eine Gesellschaft im Einklang mit dem Planeten Diversität, Neugierde und Offenheit braucht.
Wie ein gesundes Ökosystem durch Diversität resilient ist, braucht auch Gesellschaft und Wirtschaft Diversität. Deshalb möchten wir hier analoges Handwerk mit digitalem Coworking, Jung und Alt, neue und alte Wirtschaft, sowie Stadt und Land miteinander verknüpfen.
Wir als Genossenschaft glauben an die Schwarmintelligenz und Crowd-Sourcing. Daher laden wir Menschen ein, die mit uns aktiv werden. So wird der Alsenhof ein Ort, an dem enkeltaugliches Leben, Lernen und Arbeiten für jeden erlebbar wird.
Right now we are still living in a world in which we as humanity experience a separation from nature, our fellow human beings and ourselves. We have reached a moment where we traded short-term happiness – through material and digital consumption – for long-term fulfillment and living in harmony with our planet.
Now we are beginning to understand what it means that „everything is connected.“ After separation, we now begin the journey to more connection. I believe that we can only start this journey with ourselves. That’s what I hear when I hear the quote „Be the change you want to see in the world.“
On the way to more connection with ourselves, we can be wonderfully accompanied and supported by a group of like-minded people. The real encounter with other people also reflects us again who we are and gives us the opportunity to recognize our enriching value.
I believe that only after we have explored these areas to some extent – to connect with ourselves and those around us – should we go outside and address the great challenges of this time.
